I'm scared to death, still shivering. I've never seen my lecturer so mad, never heard him curse like that. I know this sounds horrible, but I'm so glad I wasn't at the receiving end of this blast. Because I'd be so scared shitless I don't know what I'd do. Which makes me worry about how my friend's doing.
Sigh. My lecturer's not all that bad. He's pretty reasonable, when he comes to explaining himself. But if you don't hear his explanations, us mere mortals wouldn't know just what the Hell is going on, or how obvious our faults are. So, really, nobody's at fault.
Better go check on him soon.
Still shaking, Mas |

I haven't been blogging because there is so much work to be done for FYP! Urgh. But, I've been horrible today. I woke up at 11am, but my mind refused to concentrate on work. Since my first presentation yesterday, I haven't been doing anything. But I'll start tonight. After lepak-ing at Simpang... And then next morning, all the way until consultation.
Yes, I think I shall give my brain a break. I gotta get ready for Simpang.
Watching Ice Age 3 with my sisters and cousins tomorrow night, which should totally be fun. Watching Harry Potter with Farah and Fadilah on Thursday, for Farah's 20th birthday. Whoa.
(: Should relieve me from stress. Teehee.
Love me, Mas |

At 98, I hope you've had a full life Giving hope and love and warmth And having them returned as rife Through all your years, and now even in death
At 98, I hope you've fulfilled your dreams In every little way possible You've been successful it seems But still be able to stay so humble
At 98 I hope you've loved all your years Whether joyous or sorrowful With your hopes and your fears May you have never been regretful
At 98 you've seen your children Grow up so beautifully Bearing you grandchildren Whom you love unconditionally
At 98, I hope you're at peace I hope you're very happy And for many years to come we'll miss Our dear beloved Yayi

Do Singaporeans dress badly? This is a subjective question, and in my opinion, yes, generally. The most common place you can see people who dress like they were a victim of a fire that engulfed and destroyed all their good clothes, if they ever had any, is in town. Granted, there are also who dress up to the nines, and I take my hats off to them. It takes guts to dress up to go to town, not because it's over the top, but because it hasn't been a practice for Singaporeans. But I digress.
I understand where the weather is concerned, micro mini skirts and hot pants are in. (This is directed at the girls... I hope.) Mind you, I have nothing against that. But if you complete the ensemble with flip flops and Billabong T-shirts, I'd have to unleash the Fashion Police's angry mutant poodles at you. I believe in balance, if you wear plain denim skirt or jeans, pair it with a very interesting blouse or shirt. Then you can think about the accessories.
And girls, please, tights are fine, but they're only for the skinny. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but it's a sore for the eyes when your panty lines are for the world to see. That's just your back, don't get me started on the front of your pants... Ick.
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of people who dress to impress. Dresses, high-waisted skirt or pants and hats are very 'now', though not all at the same time.
Pyjamas? Pyjamas are comfortable, it makes you feel at home. They're sometimes pretty. If you had to buy some things for your mom at the mama shop downstairs, it's not unusual to be in the comfort of your PJs. But if you're going a little further like Tampines Mall (if you live in Tampines) please put on some decent clothing, for PJs are very prone to wardrobe malfunctions.
To reiterate, Pyjamas are good for the bed, within the proximity of your home and (to stretch the rules a little) a maximum of a hundred metres away.
To maximise the use of your Pyjamas at home:

On Monday Jo came to visit us in school. Well, not really. She came to hand in her project for Crowbar Awards. Awesome stuff. :D
I hope she wins something. She deserves it.
So anyway, Tiff went to meet her mom at Tampines One and got tricked into grocery shopping, haha!
So Jo and I went opposite school for food and some paper to wrap her gift for Cara. We talked about all sorts of random things. I missed Jo+School. Now if I meet her it has to be Jo+Spinelli. :P
We bought sushi, yum! And she bought Ring Pops for us. Well, I think it's called Ring Pop, I'm not sure. Tiff said it was.
So here are they are, pictures.

Last Saturday, we celebrated Idil's birthday. In a suite at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Here's a sneak peak for those who couldn't make it, refused to make it, or... Well, wasn't invited.
He turned 22.These are the cupcakes Sarah made for him.Birthday Cupcakes! The yummiest cupcakes, I swear by it. Sarah and I met the birthday boy at Terminal 3 to stall him, because everyone else was late! Outside the suite, we blindfolded him, put a crown and a tutu on him, and tied a balloon around his wrist.Boy, is he in for a lovely pink surprise. So cute hor. Some cross dressed. Some got piggy back rides. Some got carried away with photography. Some feeling2 Princess and bodyguard. Some feeling2 mafia and his wife. Then some of us played Twister, Phase 10, Pick Up Sticks, Charade... etc.WAS.SO.MUCH.FUN. Played with balloons and stuff... We also went swimming! And sat under the umbrella on the oh-so-comfortable chair!
So, yeah, that was our weekend, and it was fantastic. :D Till the next birthday!
Mas
P.S. Happy birthday Idil babe!

I'm back because I'm having Final Year Project (FYP), and I need a stress reliever. :D
So it's going to be boring, terrifying and bitchy.
Today I've come up with some questions for my idea, and I'm terrified it won't be enough. Syafiq has been kind enough to offer his services (not in that kind of way you pervs). He's helping me video tape some interviews, of course only until I figure out a way to get it done myself, which might be a tad impossible. I've to learn anyway, he's going in to NS like, soon.
To sidetrack from FYP, I have a lot of gossip in my head right now, just buzzing, buzzing. Well, not a lot. But what I'd love is to gossip like a coffeeshop aunty. I'm not sure they do gossip, but that's the word that goes around.
Anyway, Sarah and I are planning Idil's 22nd party, and I'm hoping everything goes as planned. To Idil, there's not much planned, don't get all excited. To others who are coming, of course there's a bunch of stuff planned, it's gonna be fun!
:D
